UPDATE: State and Federal Criminal Investigations Requested Surrounding Missing Emails

As  a followup to our December 7 posting regarding missing emails involved in the awarding of a controversial $11MM cancer award grant to a Dallas based company – according to the Huffington Post, “two organizations, the Progress Texas PAC and Texans for Public Justice have asked the Public Integrity Unit of the Travis County district attorney’s office in Austin and the U.S. attorney in San Antonio to launch an investigation into possible criminal activity after it was reported that an $11 million dollar grant was given to a company with virtually no scientific or business review of its proposal.”
