Thanks to all who worked to make the 2011 conference really good. And thanks to the terrific panelists who generously shared their expertise.

And thanks, too, to Jennifer Peebles of the Texas Watchdog for taking these great photos. I look forward to seeing the video clips as well.

This is my second year to attend the annual conference and it’s just about the only professional education I get. It’s a great investment of my time and I look forward to the 2012 conference.

The Freedom of Information Foundation of Texas' 2012 Open Government Seminars have been to Amarillo, Nacogdoches, Austin, Fort Worth and El Paso.

This year, the Foundation certified 331 people in compliance with Texas' open records laws. These people include state, county and local employees, journalists, lawyers and citizens committed to protecting open government in Texas.
